Course Description

Location: The course takes place in Florence at InFlorence Academy located inside the stunning Palazzo Guadagni in Piazza Santo Spirito.

Our Survival Italian language course has been created exclusively for learners who want to interact straight away with their environment.

Students acquire skills to converse and communicate in common everyday situations (ordering in bars and restaurants, asking for information, purchasing etc.) through listening and conversational activities.

The programme is based on the communicative skills necessary to handle daily situations using the Italian language.

Course duration: 2 weeks, 20 lessons. It is also possible to attend just a 1 week course of 10 lessons if required.

FAQ

With the Survival course will I be able to speak in Italian?

Our Survival course will equip you with the vocabulary and basic sentence structures to be able to manage everyday situations in Italian.

Can I change class if it is too easy / difficult?

Of course! The teachers follow the progress of all students and there is maximum flexibility if a student wishes to try another class.

How can I find out my language level?

On the first day you will take our entrance test so our teachers can assess your level and decide which class is the correct one for you.

Will I have homework?

Sometimes teachers assign homework (not compulsory) so you can study in your free time. It is also possible to request additional material to study autonomously.

Can I stay at school when the lessons have finished?

Of course! Our school is open from 8.30 to 18.00 and you are welcome to stay and study in one of our many classrooms, in the student lounge or on our beautiful sun terrace.

What is the average age of students at school?

Our courses are aimed at students of all ages, there are no limits! Generally speaking the average age of students is younger during the summer months.

Can you help me apply for a student visa?

Yes, the school can provide all documentation necessary for your student visa application.

Will I receive a certificate at the end of my course?

Yes, all students who regularly attend an Italian language course at InFlorence Academy will receive an end of course certificate. The certificate details the language level reached in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
