Intensive Italian Language Course
Course Description
Location: The course takes place in Florence at InFlorence Academy located inside the stunning Palazzo Guadagni in Piazza Santo Spirito.
The Intensive 25 is a complete Italian language course designed for individuals who want to immerse themselves in the language and culture of our country.
The course enables students to develop their language skills while also discovering and furthering their knowledge of Italian art and culture.
Our teachers work together with you to plan a balanced, integrated and varied programme based on your learning needs.
Your progress is continually monitored by our teaching staff. Students are invited to request individual tutorial sessions to discuss language learning goals and objectives.
Course program
The daily programme foresees 2 lessons (50 minutes each) in which the main activities are reading, listening, vocabulary and conversation in Italian. After the break the next 2 lessons concentrate on the grammar and written aspects of the language. For every level (from A1 – C1 there is a weekly programme with clearly defined language objectives.
The afternoon lessons of the Intensive course are dedicated to Italian conversation and to guided visits of museums and galleries.

- 11.10 – 12.50: Grammar and written consolidation

- 14.10 – 16.00: Conversation class
Thursday
- 14.10 – 16.00: Guided visit to museum / gallery
Study-Club
The Monday afternoon Study-Club is a free tutorial session open to all students. One of our teachers will be available to help you with specific topics, provide you with additional study materials and to help you with any aspect of your learning process.
Certificate
At the end of your course you will receive a certificate of attendance detailing your language level in accordance to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (QCER).

How can I find out my language level?
On the first day you will take our entrance test so our teachers can assess your level and decide which class is the correct one for you.
Can I follow the Intensive course if I am a beginner?
Of course! Our Intensive course is suitable for students of all levels.
Which museums and galleries will I visit with the Intensive course?
The programme changes every month and in Florence the places to visit are infinite! For example, the Uffizi Gallery, Palazzo Pitti, Palazzo Vecchio, the Medici Chapels, the Bargello museum, the Boboli Gardens, the Accademia Gallery.
Can I change class if it is too easy / difficult?
Of course! The teachers follow the progress of all students and there is maximum flexibility if a student wishes to try another class.
Will I have homework?
Sometimes teachers assign homework (not compulsory) so you can study in your free time. It is also possible to request additional material to study autonomously.
Can I stay at school when the lessons have finished?
Of course! Our school is open from 8.30 to 18.00 and you are welcome to stay and study in one of our many classrooms, in the student lounge or on our beautiful sun terrace.
Will I receive a certificate at the end of my course?
Yes, all students who regularly attend an Italian language course at InFlorence Academy will receive an end of course certificate. The certificate details the language level reached in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
What is the average age of students at school?
Our courses are aimed at students of all ages, there are no limits! Generally speaking the average age of students is younger during the summer months.

Yes, the school can provide all documentation necessary for your student visa application.
